IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE USE OF A LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE

Please be kind enough to remember, that Evisalaw Sri Lanka is a satellite office that represents the interests and services of our international lawyers, registered migration agents and licensed immigration consultants. At Evisalaw Sri Lanka, we can only facilitate services AND are employees/sub-agents/administrative representatives of the Lawyer or Registered Migration Agent. Your legal representative as already mentioned from the start, will always be a Lawyer, Registered Migration Agent or Authorized Consultant. If you are not aware of who your authorized legal representative is please ask your Client Service Officer by emailing ccrm@evisalaw.com.

For those of you who are not aware of what is a satellite office: We are an office that is part of a larger organization is some distance away from the main office which controls it. We are controlled when it comes to immigration cases and our assignments by our Legal Representatives.

EVISALAW SRI LANKA as the Administrative Representatives for these Authorized Representatives will only:

  • Direct your inquiry to our authorized immigration representative.
  • Direct you to a particular immigration website or location to obtain forms.
  • We will also provide translation services and document copying and collation services.
  • We will provide courier services.
  • Our Mobility Specialists and Relocation Officers will assist you with relocating and destination services.
  • Our Trainers will provide relocation oriented training programs.
  • Our Counselors will advise on personal issues and circumstances not related to immigration.

And as an employee of our Lawyers and Registered Migration Agents, our staff will only prepare documentation and correspondence on behalf of the lawyer or registered migration agent under the ‘direction supervision” of the legal representative and only when instructed to do so.

YOUR EVISALAW ASSIGNED AUTHORIZED IMMIGRATION REPRESENTATIVE will:

  • Explain and/or provide advice on our immigration options
  • Provide guidance to a client on how to select the best immigration stream
  • Complete and submit immigration forms on a client’s behalf
  • Communicate with Immigration on a client’s behalf
  • Represent a client with their immigration application or proceeding
  • Promote their immigration advice for consideration.

Further also note, that all Governments  treat everyone equally, whether you use a Legal Representative or not.  It is also against the law to give false or misleading information to any Government.
